Dr Mark Wright BDS(Lon); DGDP UK); FICD.

Mark qualified from Kings College Hospital School of Medicine
& Dentistry and was awarded his Bachelor of Dental Surgery
in 1980. Following several hospital appointments including
Prosthodontics, and Maxillo-Facial Surgery, he entered General
Dental Practice as an Associate. In 1984 he moved to a larger
practice to gain further experience in both dentistry and
practice management, and formed his interest in post-graduate
education. In 1987 he returned to ‘Kings’ as a part time lecturer
in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, and in 1989 he
purchased his first Practice in Godalming. As the Practice grew
he knew he had to relocate in order to be able to provide the
service for his patients to which he aspired.

Remaining as a single handed practitioner Mark feels he is able
to provide his patients with a personal service, however he
also works closely with a team of specialists when the
need arises.

His keen interest in postgraduate education, gained him his
Diploma in General Dental Practice in 1991, and his
commitment to the profession by sitting on numerous Dental
Body Committees, and lecturing both nationally and
internationally was recognised by his peers. In 2005 he was
one of 27 dentists in the whole of Europe to be inducted
as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. Mark has
also been appointed to the editorial board of a leading
professional journal.

Mark’s commitment to his profession and patients, and his
eagerness to continually learn new techniques in order to
provide the highest quality dental care to his patients, has now
led him to commence further specialist training at the Royal
College of Surgeons, to attain a ‘Diploma in Implant Dentistry’.
Although Mark has been restoring dental implants at his Practice for several years, (and is also one of the restorative dentists within a specialist implant team at  ‘Surrey Implant Services’  based at the Nuffield Hospital Guildford), he is aware that he must continue to update his knowledge, and learn new techniques to enable him to provide the latest treatments available to the highest standards.
