Your child’s first experience of the dentist will always be personal and positive with us
With over thirty five years of experience in dentistry, Mark Wright has helped countless young patients see visiting the dentist as an experience free of both pain and anxiety. With a calming and positive manner developed throughout his extensive career, Mark is the best possible person to introduce your youngster to the world of dental care.
“I have been a patient at Lakeside Dental Practice for around 15 years, and in that time I have had nothing but positive experiences! I moved out of the local area 7 years ago, and keep thinking that I ought to move to a more local dental practice, but every time I visit Mark and his team I decide that I just can’t leave! My two children have also now been seeing Mark for 10 and 7 years respectively, and they are happy and confident about visiting the dentist – setting them up for a lifetime of fear-free dental care is absolutely priceless! Thank you to everyone at lakeside Dental Practice.

Even if they have never visited the dentist before, Mark understands that the oversized chair, bright lights and sometimes scary-looking equipment can be unsettling for young patients. That’s why he’ll always do everything he can to take the stress out of a visit to the dentist for both children and their parents. Best of all, our guarantee that every youngster will see Mark each time they have an appointment helps to build a friendly and encouraging relationship between your child and their dentist.
Preventative Dental Care
Preventative dental care should start as early as possible to ensure your child’s teeth can grow and develop in a healthy and problem-free manner. Regular health check-ups as advised by Mark will allow any signs of tooth decay or dental issues to be diagnosed early.
For children particularly at risk of cavities, dental sealants can be used on both “milk” teeth and permanent teeth to stop any damage before it occurs. Made from safe and hardwearing plastic, sealants can save your child the agony of tooth decay, as well as saving you from the unwanted cost of dental repair work.
